Why do socks dig into wide calves?

Knee high or crew for wide calves?

How to check the fit

You should be able to slide a finger under the top band easily, the heel should sit on your heel, and there should be no extra fabric bunching at the toes. After a full day, the band should leave no deep ring. Marks that stay dented after you press them, or swelling in only one leg, are a reason to see your doctor. No. Mi Socks are not compression socks. They are made not to squeeze. If your doctor has prescribed compression stockings, keep wearing those.

Will these socks stay up on a wide calf?
