Viasox Review: Are Viasox Socks Good? Lines, Sizing, Prices and Returns

Quick answer: Viasox is best known for EasyStretch, a non-binding sock that stretches to a 26, 28 or 30 inch calf depending on size, sold in more than 50 patterns and solids. As of October 2026, viasox.com lists a pair at $29.99, or about $12 a pair in its five-pair offers, with free shipping over $35 and no returns unless an order arrives damaged, defective or wrong. They are a strong match for wide calves and print lovers, as long as you are sure of your size.

Disclosure: We make Mi Socks, a competing non-binding sock, so weigh this review accordingly. We did not buy or test Viasox socks. Everything about Viasox below comes from viasox.com, checked October 30, 2026, and we don't use star ratings or review counts for any brand. Viasox and EasyStretch are trademarks of their owner. What socks does Viasox sell?

Viasox sells four main lines, each in S/M, M/L and L/XL, plus licensed Peanuts designs and "Mystery" bundles where Viasox picks the patterns. It says it adds new patterns every week. Its non-binding styles:

Style What Viasox says it is Calf fit Viasox lists
EasyStretch Its flagship sock: a non-binding stretchy top and a triple-padded sole, in crew and knee high Up to 26, 28 or 30 inches, by size
EasyStretch Gripper EasyStretch with grips, in black or white Same as EasyStretch
Ankle A low-cut version of EasyStretch with a heel tab and mesh panels Ankle length

The other two lines squeeze on purpose, so ask your doctor before choosing either: a knee high sock with graduated compression of 12 to 15 mmHg, which Viasox says is made for calves up to 18 inches in every size, and a low-cut ankle compression sock. Many patterns come in more than one line, so check the product name before you buy. MedlinePlus explains that compression stockings gently squeeze your legs, with the most pressure around your ankles.

Are Viasox good for people with diabetes?

Viasox doesn't sell a line called diabetic socks. For people with diabetes or sensitive feet, it points to EasyStretch. Its FAQ says Viasox socks are not a medical device and suggests asking your doctor or podiatrist which sock is right for you. Here is how EasyStretch lines up with the sock advice from the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the NIDDK:

  • Not too tight: the ADA suggests socks that fit well and aren't too tight, and NIDDK says not to wear tight socks. EasyStretch is built around a non-binding top.
  • Padding: NIDDK suggests lightly padded socks, and the ADA suggests some padding if you need more cushion. EasyStretch has a padded sole.
  • Seams: the ADA notes seams can be bothersome. Viasox describes the EasyStretch toe as seamless.
  • Fabric: the ADA suggests a synthetic fabric or wool to keep moisture away. The EasyStretch blends Viasox lists are led by polyester.
  • Color: the ADA suggests white or light socks so bleeding or drainage is easy to spot. Most Viasox designs are prints, but it sells solid white and other light colors, so keep a few light pairs.

If you have diabetes and are thinking about either compression line, talk to your doctor first. The ADA suggests asking your provider about compression socks if you have weak leg veins, leg or foot swelling, a past blood clot in the leg, or walk or stand a lot.

How do Viasox sizes and calf stretch work?

Viasox sizes every line by shoe size on its chart, in S/M, M/L and L/XL. For EasyStretch, it also lists the most each size will stretch around the calf: 26 inches for S/M, 28 inches for M/L and 30 inches for L/XL. That is among the highest calf stretch figures we have seen a brand publish for a non-binding sock.

  • Measure first. Viasox suggests measuring the widest part of your calf and choosing a sock that stretches past it. A sock worn near its limit presses harder, so leave room.
  • Between sizes? Viasox suggests sizing up.
  • Need room? Stick to EasyStretch. The knee high line that squeezes is made for an 18 inch calf in every size, Viasox says.

How much do Viasox socks cost per pair?

These were the prices on viasox.com on October 30, 2026, before tax and shipping. Viasox runs multi-pair offers on its product pages, and they change often.

How you buy Price Per pair
One pair, any of the four main lines $29.99 $29.99
Two pairs, through the two-pair offer $29.99 About $15
EasyStretch 3-pack bundle $44.99 About $15
Five pairs, through the five-pair offer or a 5-pack bundle $59.98 to $59.99 About $12
Mystery EasyStretch 5-pack, designs chosen by Viasox $39.98 About $8

Shipping is free on orders of $35 or more in the US and Canada. Viasox also sells a VIP membership for $24 a year, which it says includes free shipping on every order and 20% back in store credit that expires after 180 days. For how these prices compare with other brands over a year, see how much diabetic socks cost.

What are Viasox socks made of, and how do you wash them?

The Black EasyStretch product page lists 44% polyester, 34% bamboo, 14% cotton and 8% Lycra. A FAQ on the Viasox bundle page gives a different EasyStretch blend: 60% polyester, 26% bamboo charcoal, 11% cotton and 3% elastane. Viasox also says it sometimes changes materials or construction, so a new order can feel different from an old one. Check the label on the pair you receive, especially if you react to certain fibers.

For care, the product page says to wash in cold water on a gentle setting with similar colors, then hang dry or tumble dry on low, and to avoid bleach. The Viasox FAQ adds fabric softener to the list to avoid.

What is the Viasox return policy?

Viasox does not accept returns or exchanges and does not give refunds, according to its refund policy. If an item arrives damaged or defective, or you get the wrong item, it asks you to get in touch within 14 days with photos. Licensed designs, such as Peanuts, are final sale even if you ordered the wrong size. That makes sizing the decision that matters most, so measure your calf before you order.

What should you look for in Viasox reviews?

Viasox has a reviews page on its site. A count of stars won't tell you whether a sock will fit you, so read for these details:

  • Calf size: reviews from people whose calves measure close to yours, and which size they chose.
  • The top band after washing: whether it still stays up after weeks of wear.
  • The line: EasyStretch and the compression styles fit very differently, so note which one the reviewer bought, and ask your doctor before trying compression.
  • Recent dates: Viasox says it updates materials and construction, so newer reviews describe the version you would get.
  • Returns: what happened when something went wrong, since a pair that simply doesn't fit can't go back.

Choose Viasox if you need a published calf stretch up to 30 inches, want far more prints to choose from, or want a compression style in the same designs and your doctor agrees. Mi Socks may suit you if regular socks fit your leg but the top digs in, and you want a lower price per pair. They are non-binding diabetic socks with a wide, loose top band, a smooth flat toe seam and a terry-cushioned sole, not compression socks and not a medical device. Because of the rubber, ask your doctor first if you have a latex allergy. Browse our non-binding socks, and find your size on our sock size chart.

Frequently asked questions

Are Viasox and Mi Socks the same kind of sock?

Where does Viasox ship?

Viasox says it ships to the US, Canada and many other countries. The free shipping threshold above applies to US and Canadian orders, and international orders pay a flat rate.

Do Viasox socks have grips?

Some do. Viasox sells gripper styles, such as the EasyStretch Gripper at $34.99 a pair in black or white. With diabetes, the CDC says to always wear shoes and socks or slippers, even inside.
