What is Diabetic Sock Club?

Diabetic Sock Club (DSC) is a sock brand, and despite the name you don't have to join anything: you can buy a single pack, and autoship is optional. The company is MissionCute, LLC, doing business as Diabetic Sock Club. It packs orders in Gastonia, North Carolina, and says its socks are knit in Alabama.

In October 2026 its website sold four sock styles, each in a men's and a women's version:

  • Cotton crew and cotton ankle socks with a non-binding top, in 3-pair packs of one color and size.
  • Ultra-Soft upper calf socks, a plush acrylic knit with a wide, stretchy, non-binding top, in 2-pair packs.
  • Over-the-calf compression socks, sold by the pair; DSC's own FAQ says to ask your doctor before starting compression.

It also sells foot care products and answers a phone line on weekdays.

How much do Diabetic Sock Club socks cost per pair?

On its site, DSC's cotton crew and ankle socks cost $6.25 to $10.00 a pair, and the smallest order is one 3-pair pack for $29.99.

Diabetic Sock Club prices, October 13, 2026, before tax
Sock and where it's sold Pairs Price Per pair
Crew or ankle, one pack (DSC site) 3 $29.99 $10.00
Crew or ankle, fall sale bundle (DSC site) 6 $49.98 $8.33
Crew or ankle, fall sale bundle (DSC site) 12 $74.96 $6.25
Men's cotton crew, sold by DSC on Amazon 6 $29.99 $5.00
Same Amazon pack with Subscribe & Save 6 $26.99 $4.50

DSC's own subscription, Autoship & Save, adds a 15% discount to any order delivered every 2, 3 or 4 months, and you can skip or cancel. That would bring the 12-pair bundle to about $5.31 a pair. Mi Socks has no subscription.

DSC ships every US order free with economy shipping and charges for faster options. Mi Socks charges $4.95 to ship orders under $19 and ships orders of $19 or more free, so 3 pairs cost $21.99 ($22.99 for knee high) against DSC's $29.99. The socks are alike: about 80% cotton, a non-binding top, a smooth toe seam and a cushioned sole. DSC leads on its guarantee, return window, U.S. knitting and phone help. Mi Socks costs less per pair than DSC's site at 3 and 6 pairs, and at 12 pairs unless you use DSC's autoship, which brings its bundle to about $5.31 a pair against our $5.42. Mi Socks also adds prints and a cotton-rich knee high. On Amazon, DSC's men's 6-pair pack costs less per pair than any of our packs, and Subscribe & Save costs less still.

What are Diabetic Sock Club socks made of?

DSC's website describes its crew and ankle socks as soft cotton with a cushioned foot and a smooth, flat toe seam, without fiber percentages. Its Amazon listing for the men's cotton crew gives 80% cotton, 15% polyester and 5% Lycra, close to the Mi Socks blend of 80% cotton, 13% polyester, 5% rubber and 2% spandex. The Ultra-Soft is a plush acrylic knit, listed on Amazon as 95% acrylic and 5% Lycra.

The American Diabetes Association suggests socks made of a synthetic fabric or wool to keep moisture off your skin. Acrylic is a synthetic, so DSC's Ultra-Soft sits closer to that advice than either brand's cotton crew. Cotton-rich socks feel soft and breathe, but if your feet sweat a lot, a synthetic or wool sock may suit you better.

A 2026 systematic review of diabetic socks found no trial evidence behind the claims of store-bought socks that advertise new types of fiber.

What is Diabetic Sock Club's return policy?

DSC's refund policy, effective October 7, 2026, gives you 30 days from delivery to start a return or exchange, for socks that are unworn and unwashed in their original packaging. Exchanges are free with a prepaid label. Refunds go to your original payment method minus the cost of that label, unless DSC sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged or defective. Socks bought on Amazon go back through Amazon.

Its 1-Year Replacement Guarantee is separate. If a pair gets a hole or wears out within a year of your order, DSC replaces it free, once per order, after you file a claim on its website.

Mi Socks takes back unworn pairs in their original packaging within 15 days of delivery. Start one on our contact page. DSC is more generous: its window is twice as long, its exchanges are free, and we have no wear guarantee.

Where can you read Diabetic Sock Club reviews?

  • DSC's product pages. Each style has a review section, which notes that some reviews shown come from related products DSC grouped with it.
  • Amazon. DSC's Amazon listings carry their own customer reviews, separate from those on its site.
  • The Better Business Bureau. BBB's profile for MissionCute, LLC, the company behind DSC, showed no BBB rating, no customer reviews and no complaints from the past three years when we checked.
  • Trustpilot. An unclaimed profile for diabeticsockclub.com had six reviews, none from the past 12 months.

Third-party review and coupon pages go out of date, so check prices and offers on DSC's own site. Read recent low-star reviews as well as high ones.

Mi Socks has few reviews so far. Under our reviews policy, we publish only reviews we can match to a real order.

Which should you pick, Diabetic Sock Club or Mi Socks?

  • Pick Diabetic Sock Club if you want socks knit in the U.S., a year of free replacements, 30-day returns with free exchanges, phone help, ankle socks, a plush acrylic upper-calf sock, or a men's 6-pair pack on Amazon at $5.00 a pair, or $4.50 with Subscribe & Save.
  • Pick Mi Socks if you want to pay less per pair than DSC's site charges for 3, 6 or 12 pairs without autoship, or want prints, a cotton-rich knee high, all 10 colors in M, L and XL, or a single pair to try for $9.99 plus $4.95 shipping.
  • Keep wearing what your doctor prescribed if you have been told to wear compression stockings, because neither brand's non-binding socks squeeze.

The Mi Socks 6-pack costs $35.99, or $6.00 a pair, in Classic Mix, Prints Mix, All Black or All White, and the knee high 6-pack is $36.99, or $6.17 a pair. Our lowest price per pair is the 12-pack at $64.99, or $5.42 a pair. Shopping for a woman who likes prints? Browse our diabetic socks for women or our women's picks by need.

Frequently asked questions

Does Diabetic Sock Club have a discount code?

We couldn't confirm a current public code. On October 13, 2026, DSC's site showed its fall sale bundles, its 15% autoship discount and an email sign-up that mentions occasional offers. We didn't test codes from coupon sites. Mi Socks doesn't use coupon codes.

Does Diabetic Sock Club make knee high socks?

Not under that name. Its tallest non-binding sock is the acrylic Ultra-Soft, which rises to the upper calf and costs $9.37 to $15.00 a pair by pack size. Its over-the-calf socks are graduated compression (8–15, 15–20 or 20–30 mmHg), so ask your doctor first; the ADA suggests asking your provider about compression if you have vein problems, leg or foot swelling, or a history of blood clots. Mi Socks knee highs are cotton-rich, non-compression and cost $5.67 to $9.99 a pair.

Can you buy Diabetic Sock Club socks on Amazon?

Yes. DSC sells some styles on Amazon under its own name. Its men's 6-pair cotton crew cost $29.99 there on October 13, 2026 ($5.00 a pair, less than our 6-pack at $6.00), or $26.99 ($4.50 a pair) with Amazon's Subscribe & Save. Check the pack size and seller before you buy.

How do Mi Socks sizes compare with Diabetic Sock Club sizes?

Men's sizes nearly match: DSC's men's crew runs M 6–8, L 9–12 and XL 12–14, and ours run M 6–8, L 9–12 and XL 13 and up. DSC's women's crew comes in S, M and L, starting at a women's 4; ours starts at a women's 5. Both brands say to size up between sizes. Use our sock size chart, not another brand's letter size.

How do you contact Diabetic Sock Club?

DSC's policy pages list a toll-free number, (800) 214-0218, answered weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern, plus email and a contact form. We can't help with DSC orders. For a Mi Socks question, use our contact page.

Do diabetic socks really work?

The evidence is thin: the 2026 review rated the trials so far as poor quality. NIDDK advises clean, lightly padded socks that fit well, and the CDC says to check your feet every day. NIDDK also says to call your health care provider right away if a cut, blister or bruise on your foot doesn't start to heal after a few days. More in are diabetic socks worth it?
